As a corporate organization, we have a dedicated Sustainability Department responsible for developing and implementing the policies, standards, and strategic initiatives that integrate environmental stewardship across every area of the Trobbu Group.

Our Initiatives
In Action
The following strategic sustainability initiatives are currently being implemented throughout the organization:
Renewable Energy
Solar panels are currently installed at our Tulum property and at our corporate headquarters. Our long-term objective is for every Trobbu property to generate its own renewable electricity.
Waste Management
Recyclable and organic waste is separated at both our corporate offices and resort destinations to maximize recycling efficiency and minimize landfill waste.
Organic Composting
Organic waste generated by our kitchens is composted and repurposed whenever possible.
Employee Education
We provide ongoing training programs covering sustainability, environmental conservation, energy efficiency, waste segregation, and responsible operational practices.
Sustainable Landscaping
Landscaping at each destination is carefully designed to reflect the site's natural ecosystem — including native tree species, pollinator-supporting flowering calendars, and edible gardens that supply fresh fruits and vegetables for culinary experiences.
Corporate Volunteer Programs
We organize environmental volunteer initiatives, including public space clean-up campaigns and environmental awareness activities that positively impact local communities.
ESR Certification
Trobbu is currently pursuing ESR (Socially Responsible Company) Certification, reinforcing our commitment to creating a positive social and environmental impact while fostering a workplace where employees feel valued, engaged, and fulfilled.
Refillable Guest Amenities
Our destinations utilize refillable dispensers for soap, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner, significantly reducing single-use packaging and minimizing product waste.
